I've heard people say AI will make old filing systems obsolete. Is this true in everyday practice, or are there limitations? Would love to hear from people who've tried it.

It explained that AI can certainly automate tagging, categorization, and search, which makes finding documents much faster. However, the article also emphasized that AI still depends on good initial organization — if the original files are messy, AI can't magically fix that. It pointed out that traditional systems still matter for legal compliance, audit trails, and consistency. In real use cases, AI tools act as helpers rather than complete replacements; they boost efficiency but still need human oversight. The article made me see AI as a strong assistant for filing, not a full substitute.
