How the lock trick works

The steps are honestly so simple it's kind of weird. You just go to the Enchanter and pick the specific Greater Affix you want to keep. Hit reroll, but here's the trick: don't pick a new stat. Just select the original one again. For some reason, the game flags that affix as "enchanted," and the Horadric Cube stops seeing it as something it can change. I tried this on a massive Vulnerable Damage roll last night and then spammed Focused Rerolls. The Cube didn't touch the locked stat once. It's like an invisible shield for your best rolls.



Smart crafting and keeping materials full

I've been following a strict order to make sure I don't mess things up. Lock the best GA first, then use Focused Rerolls to find the other stats. It's way safer than a Chaotic Reroll, which is basically just gambling with your life. Since the material grind is absolutely brutal this season, I've seen plenty of people head over to U4GM to grab extra materials or base items so they don't run out of steam. There's no shame in it when the RNG is this punishing and you just want to finish your build. This method even works on charms and uniques, which is huge for anyone hunting those elusive BiS pieces.
