Honestly, I saw a video the other day that made me wonder about this. Someone had face-swapped themselves into a famous movie scene, and I couldn't even tell it wasn't them until they pointed it out. Is this just a one-off thing, or are we really at a point where face swapping is indistinguishable from reality? I'm both impressed and a little worried about the implications, especially since I have seen some pretty terrible attempts in the past! What are your thoughts?

It's definitely getting there! Years ago, it was always easy to spot the bad blending and weird lighting, but now it's getting much more seamless. Some of those AI algorithms can really nail the little details. I even saw one site that offered a porn face swap option, which shows just how far the technology has advanced and where some people are taking it. Seems like the tech is improving all the time.
